Antidote is inoffensive but boring. I zone out in the middle of every song then am surprised that it's still playing. This is partly because of lack of variety in sound, partly because the songs tend toward quietness, often with extended breaks where they nearly come to a halt. "Eternally sleep on it," indeed. There are some pretty songs here, there are moments I like - the sentimental "Capricorn at Her Feet," a poppy turn in the chorus of "Crystal Gazing," ... read more
