"Em Nome Do Medo" gets started with a nice string passage that continues for most of the track. This one is a glorified intro in a way but not bad in execution and the symphonics are pleasant.

Once i presented this album in a Portuguese class (back when it came out) because of the creative way it talks about what is until today one of the greatest disasters in Portugal's history. It's overall a really good listen and I recommend it a lot, even if it gets a bit repetitive at times
1755 centers on the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami that ravaged Lisbon on the eve of All Saints' Day in the title year. It tells of both the natural disaster itself as well as the indelible impact on the city and Portguese culture. While I can't understand the language, the music itself is very eloquent to communicate this drama.
