Sun June doesn't go in any adventurous direction on this sleepy indie rock record, but delivers a bunch of pleasurable, melancholic tracks.

It starts like a cute indie dream pop album but it gets kind of tiring by its middle.

Its main problem is that it lacks personality : It doesn't really feel indistinguishable from any other dream pop record. It is nice to hear and sometimes catchy but there is nothing special about it.

The production is nice to hear but it is very repetitive. The composition is also not that special and it seem to follow a formula. The lyrics are decent and Laura Colwell's vocals are lovely to hear.

Easy listening, background-esque music. Reminds me of Lucy Dacus in a good way.

Listen to - bad girl // Everywhere

Such a chill album. It suffers a wee bit for a "sameness" sounding on the first few listens but that might change down the line.
