I remember getting this for Christmas, twas my first record by the band and I didn't know it at the time but one of the first brutal death bands I'd listened to.

Crowning The Abomination starts off with nice groove, more of a focus on traditional riffs still. Nice groove at the end. Decline is nice and heavy, more slam riffs here. The Consequence has more of a deathcore approach to it, similar to Despised Icon.

The Surreption is the second album from Ingested, I have to admit, this is certainly a step down from the last release.
This time around most of the songs are either an eight out of ten or a nine out of ten for me, My favourite tracks here being 'Decline', 'This Disgusting Revelation', 'Castigation and Rebirth', as well as the final three tracks.

This album is mostly great, but it doesn't quite reach the same highs as the last album, still a good listen though in my opinion.
