There is nothing inherently wrong with The Level Above Human, except that we've heard it most of it before. As it stands, the album is likely one of the most brutal things anyone will hear this year. And, sometimes, that's enough.

I intend on doing some recommendations tomorrow, I also want to redo a couple reviews for this bands newer material. Still one of my favorites of course.

Sovereign begins with a simple but effective groove to set the tone before dropping a heavy slam groove, great opener. I like the more traditional riffs once the slam is over. Really well written opener, nice deathcore elements as well. Tons of energy.

Not the most unique album ever, but still a really enjoyable listen

The Level Above Human is a blast of energy and great sounds from beginning to end, almost making for the perfect listening experience in my opinion.
I love all of the tracks here, and there are only three that don't earn a ten out of ten from me ('Misery Leech', 'Purveyors of Truth', and 'The Crimson Oath'), those are all nines though so they're still great tracks.
