Both bands do their thing on this project. Sunami delivers some great beatdown, even if it's a bit generic. And gulch goes absolutely fucking insane as always. I'm a sucker for high pitched vocals in hardcore, especially when it doesn't just sound like a knocked loose ripoff, and gulch does that better than anyone.

Raging bass, gnarly guitars, furious shouts and PUNCHING-IN-YOUR-FACE breakdowns, with nice production and good arrangements, this is what split EP does by the two of rising San Jose hardcore bands Sunami and Gulch.
