Symphony X's final album, at least at the time I'm writing this (fingers crossed for that 2026 release). Immediately I can say that this is an improvement over the rather dissapointing Iconoclast, there's still a heavier focus on here, but it doesn't come at the sacrifice of their other elements. I'm gonna complain that the modern production does slightly neuter their sound, as I have with their last two, but the band still sound like they have a ton of fire left in ... read more

It was good, but they’ve definitely done better. The album drops in quality about halfway through in my opinion and could’ve been shorter. I really hope this isn’t their last album
