AllMusic

Exquisite Corpse is a near perfect blend of the densely packed, sample heavy, nearly symphonic electronica and off-kilter hip-hop that the last three albums have featured.

Daedelus' album is ambitious, different, and quirky. However, all the genres and craziness fits together in a relaxing meld of hip-hop music.

Tiny Mix Tapes

Exquisite Corpse's saving grace is that there is enough variety to its ensemble of guest performers to keep the listener somewhat interested.

Mojo
Reveals another eclectic, kaleidoscopic world.

Q Magazine
Conjures a magical, cut'n'paste dimension where genteel lounge sways to disembodied voices, clicks and bleeps.

PopMatters
Good without ever being memorable, the way a person can be polite, but not charismatic, not someone you're all that excited to meet again.

Uncut

Too often his cluttered samples and constant fidgeting shatter [the] fragile spells.

This is such a bizarre and creative project, however it is disappointing how so many interesting tracks end up falling flat on their faces due to technical errors.

Also the last thing I would expect is to see CYNE and MF DOOM on the same record.
