By far downy's most depressing work to date, Mudai 3 is a testament to the importance of atmosphere in music, as throughout the 44 minute runtime there is not one moment where there isn't a presence of a cold, dead melancholy.

In the span of a few albums and a few years Downy made unprecedented sonic leaps and bounds, already honed in on their unique dance between groove and atmosphere, both of which are tight and carefully crafted, yet free and fresh.
