Goddamn this is a good album. Combined with The Fall Of Math, 65 made their two greatest albums back to back, making them almost feel like sister albums. The chaos and desperation of The Fall comes back (just like it has to varying degrees in every album since), but this time, it's so much more immediate. The Fall takes its time to build, mixing in moments of soaring hope with moments of pure anger and dread, usually within the same song. That hope is still present on One Time For All Time, but ... read more

I feel like I had the genre of post-rock spoiled for me considering this album was one of my first experiences with the genre. 65daysofstatic are still one of my favorite bands as they so effortlessly blend breakcore, post-rock, and experimental music into a beautifully unique and awesome experience. Relistening to One Time For All Time was such a fun time, and I can't stress enough how essential of a listen this is.

The Post Rock and IDM combination of 65daysofstatic is really unique. I also think that sonically it's pulled off really well. However, I find the compositions just lacking a bit. It just meanders, but never really goes to anything concrete. I felt the same about their 2013 effort Wild Light and hoped that this hyped album would deliver a more exciting experience. Sadly, it just comes a bit short of that greatness, but is good enough to keep me entertained throughout.

This is a fantastic post/math rock combined with electronic elements. Some of the post rock in the world is too slow, but this one is just fast enough to not let you be bored.

This is absolutely incredible. The layering of all the instruments, the climaxes, the crescendos, the waves of emotions each song takes you down are so different yet so familiar, and the way they do it is stunning. The ... read more

One Time for All Time lives up to its name; the genre-bending is insane and very well executed throughout all 37 minutes.
