This album sunk its hooks into me right away with the first two tracks, and hardly let up from that point on. This is such a refreshing take on post rock I've never heard before, meshing electronic sounds and rock instrumentation incredibly well. The pacing of this record is fantastic, with some tracks being high-octane post rock odysseys coupled with these more subdued tracks that have really satisfying progressions. Oh boy is it time to get to an interesting project that’s caught my eye for a bit now and that is the Post-Rock / Electronic band 65daysofstatic. And I went with this as an intro point and yeah it was very good! We Were Exploding Anyway is a neat little Electronic and Post-Rock album with some blends of IDM and Breakbeat.
