After the surprise success of Television's Marquee Moon, Richard Hell decided to get his own band together and come up with yet another punk classic for the books, but surprisingly this one doesn't get the same attention Marquee Moon does. I’m not gonna say this is as underappreciated as people make it out to be, but yeah, this is definitely packed with some fire punk songs. Richard Hell took a much rawer approach than his previous band Television. Short, sharp and easy-going. Love his snotty performance. The 8-minute closer is what’s really underappreciated here!

A somewhat underappreciated album in my opinion. Richard Hell was a bit ahead of the game in ‘77. The title track is incredible. Hell was a strong writer with a unique voice in a sea of similar sounding groups. “It’s such a gamble when you get a face” come on that’s genius.

Love those wacky guitars. One of the most likeable punk albums I’ve heard in a while.
