Crisp and delicate at its best, a bit lackluster at its worst. A excellent staple in the art/chamber pop catalogue.

this is just. the absolute softest, cutest album. listen to those textures throughout. even when things get a little tense at the beginning of "through the night softly," you can't help but just think about how adorable it sounds. listen to the unabashed joy of the singers on "something big," the climax of "women of the world," the saxophone solo on "through the night softly." of course, there is a melancholic side to this album's coziness, as seen in the ... read more
