Beautiful lyrics and melodies move from somber thoughts to moments that will make you smile in understanding.

A sweet little listen full of fun riffs, great dynamics and a bittersweet and sincere nostalgia that makes 90s emo have such a premium quality to it. With this album, the band establishes the trope that nobody in midwest emo can sing, despite many of its biggest proponents in the 90s being very good at it, which was later to be exploited by all the whiny revival bands a couple decades later. But they can't sing quite like how Cap'n Jazz veteran Davey Van Bohlen can't sing!
