This fucken rips. True to the sound cultivated in Tru, they offer even more fuzzy, melodic rock that peaks in shoegaze noise. It's nostalgic, intense, loud, and comfortable to listen to all at the same time.

A pleasant experience, I'll be coming back to this. I thought I got some Manchester Orchestra vibes off the first track, but didn't really feel as much of that the rest of the album. Eat More was the highlight here.

Ovlov has emerged from their 2013 New England Shoegaze revival era sound with a more sober, clearer, and constructed sound. Evoking a better pop sensibility with soaring fuzzy guitar solos and groovable riffage. One thing to keep in mind is OVLOV is a loud live experience. So Buds is best enjoyed in the higher volume levels as that is how these songs were intended to be played.
