Waaay too damn long (even as admitted by Spencer Krug himself). However, the latest release from the Wolf Parade frontman is a unique and interesting listen. This is the most experimental use of his voice yet. The two albums interspersed-into-one make for a vastly different listening experience, track-by-track. It sort of works though. I enjoyed it most by skipping to the next track as I pleased, since not only is the album long, but a lot of songs seem to drag on.

Jesus, this is brutal in all the right ways. It's like Swans on speed.

Varied songs and even manages to have a well-paced arrangement, despite the seemingly relentless energy. Less Sex is a gem of a song and The Lords Song gets me so hyped.

My feelings about this album have gone from immediate love, to boredom, and then now settling on very much liking it. I find myself returning to it and seeking out their earlier tunes as well. I will always love Daft Punk and this album really does sound like a RAM #2. Parcels seem to have all the necessary components in place that will surely blast them to quick, widespread commercial success.
