Once again, Be'lakor showcases that they can keep putting out great melodeath forever. While their sound has seen little change over their discography, I'm not really complaining. They have such a unique vibe that I'm glad I know what I'm in for.
I really wanna like this, but the songs themselves are way too long with too little to focus in on. Ideas begin and end way too suddenly and sometimes without context.
I probably need to listen to Stone's Reach for full confirmation, but I'm having a harder time getting into this band than I thought I would given their reputation. Both projects I've heard from them, including this new record, are missing the same captivation that their clear influences (In Flames, Soilwork, Opeth to a degree, etc.) had.
