Danzig's 4th album sees him and the band move deeper into the 90s while staying true to their bluesy Hard Rock roots. It boasts just about all the positives of the last album, and it might even have the band's strongest individual songs thus far - Bringer of Death and Son of the Morning Star, as well a few others first take their time to set up atmospheres, before launching into a bluesy barrage with Danzig's throaty vocals on top. It's killer stuff.

Imagine being in 1994 and thinking: "Well Danzig let himself go a little on this album. He'll outdo himself next time for sure" and then Danzig 5 would drop and only go downhill from there.
