Easily one of the greatest albums of this millennium. There is not a single song here that I'd dislike. It's nostalgic, catchy, accessible, and yet kind of experimental. The chord progressions are simply genius and the vocals are amazing. Not much else to say, except that this is an awesome album.
It's nice to hear diverse modern musical projects taking influence from old music from the great war era. It is all I expected from the Tally Hall group and more. Some songs are slow burners and some hit right from the start, yet none of the qualities of the songs differ much from each other. Fantastic story and musitianship. I love it.
I've heard many electronic albums and none of them capture the atmosphere this one does. Pilotredsun has made the happiest sounding album to ever make others feel sadness. More than that, it resonates pure dread. The music is very catchy and has a special kind of crunch to it. As an early 2000s kid, who's played the majority of indie flash games I fully support this album.
