pretty fun. its a very raw album with lots of harsh vocals so when the cleans come around its a surprise but a good mix. its a fun listen but sort of blends into each other. still for a first album (their actual first one isn't on streaming so im counting this as their first) its pretty good. highlights for me are Fell the Sun, Starlight and Hypernova. any metalcore fan should like this to differing levels

Very early Wage War esque but distinctly different enough for it to not feel like a copy and paste of Blueprints. Really good album from a band that definitely deserves a bigger audience for how good their music is

So, obviously Diamond Construct has come a long way since this album and the one before. Would anyone have thought that in eight years they'd be doing nu-metal-adjacent glitchcore, and well, at that? I doubt it.

This record is a fairly interesting look at the pre-Self Titled days of Diamond Construct. There appears to be some Erra influence within the tracks, though, unlike Erra, I don't find myself being bored halfway through the record. You can hear some of the sound of the future records ... read more
