Sometimes cumbersome yet undeniably enjoyable, Diamond Construct‘s debut teems with relentless attitude and simply refuses to let up. Perhaps on their next outing they will opt for a little more diversity, but as a piece of heavy music this more than hits the mark.

It's a good Metalcore album and shows the band's roots and a glimpse of what their sound would become. The electronic glitchy computer elements are present here, which definitely defined their later music. I just feel like their Nu Metalcore stuff is more unique and in demand from me.
It's still a solid Metalcore album, don't get me wrong, just gets a little repetitive at times. No bad songs though and a BUNCH of amazing ones. It gets boring toward the end, but overly it's good.

Just a wonderful album holy shit. Went in with middling expectations after their last one but this is just my kind of music. Really harsh vocals but the instrumentals are really groovy and nice. Every song sounds super punchy right in your face. Its eveything i love about Alpha Wolfs 2nd album but even better. Any metalcore fan needs to give this one a listen its awesome with no highlights because the whole damn thing is a highlight
After listening to their latest album 'Angel Killer Zero' (which was an absolutely killer album, one of the best of the year), ive been meaning to listen to more from Diamond Construct.
This album is very solid and the sound of it is heavy and groovy in a great way, however the band seemingly struggles to really differentiate and find much variety in the sound for multiple song stretches which makes alot of this album blend into one song almost, songs like Morphine Eyes definitely ... read more
