The Needle Drop

Spooky Black's Leaving EP delivers another set of trendy, reverb-drenched alternative R&B tracks.

looking into corbin's early stuff was quite fun especially this was really good despite rather low quality mixing i still think this is really great and worth giving a listen to

Leaving is short but hits hard. The EP feels personal, emotional, and honest. intro (Leaving) and Take the Blame So I Don’t Have To are the strongest tracks—quiet, raw, and easy to connect with. The only thing I've heard from Corbin before were his not so great features with Lyrical Lemonade and Skrillex, so imagine my surprise when I heard he actually made some very enjoyable lo-fi rnb over cloud rap beats. Nice mellow vibes.

you had to be there.

greaf shines, as he always has. one of the most important producers of the 2010's. corbin's tenor is smoother than silk. one of the more influential, defining projects of the soundcloud era.

I dig the production and his vocals. The mixing is a little eh to me but it's a minor gripe. Some of the features are a bit buns lowkey. Hes got the voice that's for sure

Favourite songs were: Intro, (Leaving), Take the Blame So I Don't Have To, Echoes in My Mind, DJ Khaled Is My Father
