I enjoyed their previous EP quite a bit. It was pretty, dreamy, misty, concise, did not drag and just made it point and left. However, as I get to listen to more content from this band, I realize how one-dimensional their music can be, especially on the vocal side. This kind of sound is so over saturated at the moment. It is not that it is bad, just boring
I didn't say much about NewDad's Waves EP from last year, despite liking it a lot, but after listening to this new one of theirs, I'm starting to get a better sense of their material. The band have this dreamy, twee vibe that serves as a positive contrast to the themes of relationship issues and mental health.
