Didn't love it during the first verse and still think the verses could use some improvement, but think the bridge and chorus are both really strong.
I've been completely hooked on the alt-country genre since I came across MJ Lenderman's seminal 2024 record Manning Fireworks, and this debut album is a fantastic addition to the expanding scene.

I adore most of this, it manages to be both beautiful and interesting and despite being a 35 minute long song, I always find myself not wanting to end.
I really struggle to get anything out of that middle section where it just sounds like someone is dropping massive logs throughout.
Enjoyed the production and most of the rapping on this but I must admit that I struggled quite a bit with Cee Lo's verses
