So became a blueprint for pop music do-goodery, a political statement executed through self-reflection, collaboration, and the best audio-visual experience money can buy.
I think my mum humming along to every track was a key factor to me enjoying this as much as I did, alongside Sledgehammer being a timeless bop.
A fantastic artsy pop rock album by Peter Gabriel and even though it is really 80's pop rock it is done masterfully for a heart felt and warm release filled with a soothing lush almost ambient soundscape and some powerful lyrics, So is a well rounded album with great tracks and Kate Bush kills it.

One of the best albums to come out of the 1980s.
How can you brilliantly mix pop, rock, funk, ambient and new wave? Simple, just become Peter Gabriel!
I rarely do reviews anymore, but holy mother of pearl is this album good. Really turns my 80s side on. I’m super happy I bought this CD at the thrift. It has its flaws, but it feels like if I listen enough, it’ll be a perfect 10. So pretty, dreamlike, and ahead of its time.
…Only flaw with my CD being used is that there was so much freaking grime on there. An old, ugly man probably had it first.

So is a really good album that I listened to purely because of the collaboration with Kate Bush and I really liked this album, it didn’t blow my socks off but it was still a thoroughly enjoyable time and Sledgehammer is an undisputed bop
