An ultimate feel good album full of happy beats and relatable lyrics. It's slacker, it's British and it's catchy. Oscar Scheller's voice lightly reminds me of Morrisey but with the new indie sound instead of Marr's guitar work.
Jangle and slacker-inspired, Oscar comes across as a hybrid between Yesterdays, Kasabian and The Dandy Warhols. There's a pleasant homeostasis with the albums mild spunk, but after a few tracks it feels like a dizzying merry-go-round.
