NO NUANCE REVIEW

At its best, it’s a really solid blend of Queen inspired power pop with musicianship that can actually hold up to such a descriptor. At its worst, it can be slightly less annoying “theater kid” music. It’s a mixed bag, but said mix is ultimately positive, if you’re into this kind of music you’ll probably really enjoy it.

I'm only reviewing the actual songs, and they're, highly decent I guess. The instruments blend too much together where you barely hear them, which I guess can be good. It's decent but not my favorite by this band, still a good amount of good songs.

Huuuuuge step up from Off to the Races. The whimsiness and wonder that made Jumpstarted so good on the last album is bumped up tenfold on this project and the piano usage makes the power pop tracks stick out that much more. Hey Maude, Million Dollar Bills, and the title track especially stick out as powerful tunes with fun lyrics that jump out at you thanks to the theatrical presentation.
