Celebrity Therapist is quite possibly the most essential release in the worlds of post-hardcore, metalcore and whatever else you want to call it that we’ve had in the 2020s so far, if not for longer.
What makes them so good, though, is the magnetic swagger with which they do it all. The Callous Daoboys don't want to hurt you, but to roughly, energetically, cathartically dance with you. It'll leave you dizzy but delighted.
THE CALLOUS DAOBOYS are clever, unpredictable bastards, and this is a deeply smart and subversive piece of work.

Edit 3: The songs themselves haven’t lost quality, but rather that I just don’t listen to this record that much anymore. I might’ve overdone it when this first release by listening to it over, and over again. This is just my cooling period.
