Very classy and chaotically cohesive (?), I can't really explain it but im so happy stuff like this clicked cause it's so exciting to listen to!!
The second part of edition 2 was phenomenal, im definitely coming back to this to see if it grows on me as a whole

what a chaotic masterpiece. just the idea of an "organized chaos" with so many instruments together and it actually working to create something thats oddly soothing is so cool to me. great album, but probably not the best first pick for a Coltrane album since this was late in his career and much more experimental based on what I seen
I think the most outlandish and daring coltrane opus. It's a constant feedback of eclectic sounds fighting against each other, resulting in one hell of a good time. In such way you achieve ascension: you slowly get sucked in these chaotic melodies and you are enamored of them. The composition does drag for too long tho
In all honesty, I don't favor myself enough to "comprehend jazz", a movement where the flavors of the ink abandon paper sheets once fully grown into adulthood, always pretending to inhabit the "independent" yet deeply tied to experience, as we all are. It's where we come from at the end of the day, the ground we step on & what really grounds us in reality.
