One of my favorite records still, great band and unique sound in the whole emo thing.
Hello Shitty is just a quick angsty intro, catchy and good pacing. Devotion and Desire is still one of their classic tracks, great pacing and easy riffs. Love the vocals and chorus as well. Great song.
Tortures of The Damned is solid and I imagine hits harder live, it is a bit more standard but pretty decent. They Looked... is a solid change of pace track but also a bit standard.

The self titled really set Bayside apart from the other emo acts at the time. There was a solid pop structure that emboldened by it's formulaic approach. It felt so deeply settled in a base knowledge of song structure that we begin to take for granted just how strong each song is. Devotion and Desire had a strangle hold on the warped tour/AP Magazine scene. Towing the line for drop tuning emo that did not feel cringey.
