Really underrated and overlooked gem in the prog rock realm. Really heavy guitar riffs and thick bass, creates some amazing heavy atmosphere similar to many early metal records, fun vocals fun themes, just a really great album overall.

Babe Ruth is a random ass rock band I don't really have anything to recommend about, judging by this one album, but what I can say is that one really long song by them is pretty good. the Mexican is some kind of well known dance DJ track by them, and it is also kind of a highlight with that throbbing bass, although I won't remember it that fondly or even that much I don't think. it's not even that proto disco but the bassline does have a certain funk to it, which reminds me ... read more
