DIY
The sound of an artist fully letting go - and having fun doing so.

The Telegraph

On softCORE, which very much deserves to be the 26-year-old artist’s breakthrough album, the singer-songwriter soars highest when she pours gasoline to glittery pop conventions and lets loose as a menacing punk.

Beats Per Minute

For an album so desperate to say ‘Look at me! I’m different!’ it’s a surprisingly cohesive and convincing relaunch.

Pitchfork

On softCORE, the New Jersey native mashes pop punk grit and airy R&B. It’s a commendable undertaking, but the execution is rough.

softCORE is at its best when it's genre defying. Unfortunately it doesn't do that trough it's full runtime neither at the same quality it starts out in.

It's like she has an idea of what she wants to make on this album but then has no fucking clue what's she's doing in the studio for most of this album.
