It's easy to imagine Hellyeah becoming a main occupation for the bandmembers, even though the music doesn't constitute a notable variation from their other affiliations.

Like most collaborations, "Hellyeah" never quite equals the best of its members' main output, but sounds like they had a hell of a good time making it.

I honestly think that if Tom were doing a different pose on the cover, it would look at least 10% cooler. That wouldn't fix much, though. It's still much more dreadful than any Pantera, Mudvayne, and Nothingface supergroup should realistically be.

Hellyeah is a supergroup from Dallas Texas that includes members of Mudvayne, Nothingface, and Pantera. The structure is very much a groove-filled metal onslaught. Unfortunately that onslaught is both their strength and their weakness, it hits hard at the right times but it can be overused.

It's a decent record but not very creative with exception of "Stars", and for that I'm giving it a decent 6 out of 10.

bro, chad left such a good prog nu metal band for a literally the most dad metal band ever and it's so sad to see.
i heard this album and literally had to take a 2 day break from reviewing cuz i need to grieve from chad leaving Mudvayne (he left 15 years ago)
but jokes aside this is literally the most dad butt rock thing ever that i wanna die, look at that cover, it makes me go HELLYEAH. (credit to surlace for that joke lol)
