Cher was very much still in her folk era for this album and it presents itself in a softer tone than some of her other albums. This format helps to show off her vocals, but not in a super interesting way.
Without Cher's powerful voice this album really wouldn't be much of anything. The instrumentals make the album itself drag on and it feels like those instrumentals just barely go anywhere. They aren't as exciting as I'm sure they could've been.
