This album is a good one-time listen but not one I'm yearning to revisit. The lyrics are really descriptive and the imagery is very strong, especially on Dark Lady. Unfortunately, this is mostly wasted on repetitive stories about girls in small towns trying to attract men in different scenarios. Definitely a unique and memorable record and an intriguing entry in Cher's catalogue, but not her best work.
