This album creeps on you. When you think it's going to slow, it creeps up and jolts you. When you think it's too loud, it's slinks away into the shadows. When you think it's not grand enough, it brings in a full choir without you noticing. And when you think it can't improve on it's sound, Devin Townsend grandly tells you to "Suck It" as he gives on of the best albums of his career.
Favorite Jams: Heaven Send, Gato, Ki
Lest Favorite: Ain't Never Gonna Win
My favorite album of all time.
There's something special about this album, and sometimes I feel it's only just me.
Calm, quiet and suddenly a burst of rage, that calms back to the shadows.
Pure emotion, perfection.
Huh. This kind of meanders to me. There are some beautiful moments, but the songs absolutely blend together and not much really stands out. It has a solid atmosphere, but it is generally boring.
