Regret when it was lost is a really harrowing project. It is numbing and depressing. Floating and emptiness are two things I feel from this. Staralgia was just something else.
I could not get into this. It sounds good and all but it just doesn't do much for me.
Interesting concept with good lyrics. I like the mixture of the real life(heartbreaking) lyrics and the fictional parts about Rasputin and out of body experiences. The sound of the guitars and atmosphere match the concept so well.
I like this album a lot. Bowie does soul pretty well. It is easy listening with good vocals and backing performances. Bowie messed around in many genres over the course of his career, and they mostly all play out well.
