Angry Metal Guy

Necropolis shows up, rocks your face and then is done before you have time to get bored or sick of it.

AllMusic
The 11 songs on this album are built around crushing riffs of the kind heard throughout the band's catalog, shifting between blastbeats and thunderous downtuned savagery, with plenty of room for high-speed, fretboard-scorching solos.

Another grand declaration of DM intent from a band that has never truly disappointed.

Great death metal record playing with off tune sounds, vicious riffing. The final result is groovy, catchy and aggressive

That Fight Fire With Fire cover is one of the best Metallica covers I’ve ever heard ngl

Definitely on par with their best, this is their thrashiest album yet, with some of the best production, vocals, riffs and solos I've heard from the band. While the same issues still apply with vocals and generic nature of the songwriting, it's at the end of the day another solid Vader album, who, while never quite impressing me truly, have never disappointed me either.
