Made me think of:
The Great Old Ones
Abigail Williams
Behemoth
Probably the most I've been engaged throughout on an output from Esoctrilihum. The synth work here really shines with some seriously epic and well thought out melodies. Little less straightforward black metal with memorable strings and unique clean singing. Vocals certainly aren't for everyone (myself included) and the long length can get a bit grating, but overall a great listen.
I gave it about 15 minutes before I tapped out, so take this review with a grain of salt. I just don't think this was the album for me, but it sounds very much like it absolutely hits the black metal genre.
