Genuinely one of the most gorgeous jazz albums I’ve ever heard, it’s frustrating that nobody even seems to know it exists.
Bill Evans' gently piano fits so well with Toots Thielemans' melancholic harmonica, combining together to make one of the prettiest albums I have heard. Both Bill and Toots are brilliant in their instruments, most of the time sounding sentimental and reminiscent, but at times, even though they remained superbly gentle, the atmosphere seemed uneasy like the beginning of Tomato Kiss, but at times it felt like a classic late 50s Modal Jazz ballad.
