As a person who absolutely loves Julian Casablancas as a vocalist, it's only now occuring to me that I kinda hate whenever the uses the autotune. Every time he has done it post-2013 has sounded 10x worse than it did on "Instant Crush".
I guess the song is decent, but idk, it misses that wildly creative edge of Tyranny and Virtue. Not disappointing, but not incredible either.
New The Voidz songs are interesting and definitely very experimental as they’ve always been, but I still have some questions to the mixing. And why would you need to end the song like that? It ruins a vibe a little bit. Anyway, the song is solid and I hope the record is coming soon.
