8TURN's new EP feels so creatively bankrupt. The music sounds like something I hear back home 15 years ago during K-Pop craze in Thailand. This ain't it.
I- no way MHN Entertainment dropped BVNDIT and ChungHa for this...
Out of the groups to copy NCT and roll with it, 8TURN is the most obvious. The switches to R&B sections, shouty chorus hook and even the styles of the high notes... I could practically hear on most of Mark, Haechan and Doyoung on this track.
The mixing does not do 8TURN any favours either, everthing sounds out of place. Even with pretty direct and great influences, "STUNNING" manages to be one of the worst ... read more
