This is what I consider to be Kevin's first, proper, fleshed out EP. Consisting of 6 tracks, but for some reason the track 'Wander' isn't added onto the AOTY track list, don't know why, but it is what it is.

Tame Impala's self-titled EP, and it honestly did not disappoint, I'm fairly surprised, this is Kevin's first ever proper music release and he's absolutely bossed it, what a great first impression. The tracks sound really raw, you can tell that ... read more

That's right, ladies and gentlemen, it's a Tame Impala rush!

Tame Impala's self-titled EP is actually pretty impressive for their first (or second) project. The raw sound is good but quality really is a problem i get this was their first ep and that studio budget usually is a problem and effects the quality of the audio but the tracks arent that great in my opinion

Took me ages to get to listening to this for some reason, pretty good debut, half full glass of wine is fire, it definitely feels like a less polished version of innerspeaker but that’s okay, it’s still tame impala therefore it is fire

Such an interesting EP. You can already hear a lot of the ideas and psychedelic sound that Tame Impala would later perfect on the albums. I love how distorted it is, hell yeah.
FAV: Half Full Glass Of Wine, Desire Be Desire Go and 41 Mosquitoes Flying In Formation
