So I thought I was getting comfortable with death metal, and then this absolutely wild record knocks me right off my feet. The mix of black metal and some ambient elemnts inside this thing are so powerful and effective. Crazy stuff.
First of all, this may be the first time I've ever agreed with one of pyddl's metal takes! You know you've made something impressive when both pyddl AND I like it.
Secondly, this actually improved on relistens for me (and I liked it the first time). I feel like I picked up on stuff I missed on the first listen, so I definitely recommend listening more than once if you get the chance.

a beautifully crafted dissonant death project you can’t even tell it’s all made by one person. i’m a bigger fan of the more heavier nastier songs like “Flayed”, but theres a couple more post-metal influenced sections that just come off as totally amazing. would love to see this guy form a band and play a show :)
