This album is so spectacular. The enigmatic artist Cavalier, who I have somehow never heard of before, has created what I can only describe as an absolute testament to everything that is great about the modern underground hip-hop scene, which is fitting considering how underappreciated this album seems to be at the moment. Despite an impressive list of producers including WINO WILLY, Ohbliv, Ahwlee, Messiah Musik and Child Actor, I'm not a fan of the beats on this project for the most part. The majority are just too lo-fi for my tastes. Quelle Chris is the only producer on here that impresses (especially with single 'Custard Spoon' and 'YeahBoiii' despite the sample). Cavalier is solid enough on the mic but not enough to pick up the slack.
