Alison Hell has apparently been thrust into the fashionable zombie age, judging by the gory chick clawing and gnawing on a heart in 3-D fashion for ANNIHILATOR's fourteenth album, "Feast". At least Jeff Waters and company make the most of the moment, delivering a largely fast, well-entertaining ride.

I keep rooting for these Canuck lunkheads to uncork a ripper of an album and Feast teases just enough to keep me rooting. If they could just stop shooting themselves in the foot with terrible songs like “Pretty Angel Eyes” we might see them hit that late career high note.

Easily the best Anniilator album in a very long time, and the first one where I haven't been completely turned off by Dave Padden. I still have my issues with him of course, he's still my least favourite Annihilator vocalist, but he isn't anywhere near as annoying here as he has been in the past. Songwriting wise, the album is kinda inconsistent, with some great tracks with great performances, and some that I just do not fuck with at all. The whole album feels way more inspired ... read more

Feast est – pour moi, et jusqu’à aujourd’hui – le meilleur album de thrash de 2013, et figurera sans problème dans le Top 10 (allez… 5!) du genre pour la décennie en cours. Puisqu'on vous dit qu'il est exthrash: courrez l’acheter!
