Former Zappa band members and Dale Bozzio on vocals come together to create a cutting edge new wave record that honestly executes what it sets out to do really well. U.S. Drag is pretty peak ngl. I could see people thinking this lacks personality but I think it works damn well as a whole for what it is.
HER VOICE GAHHH IT’S SO GOOD
Having meant to relisten this album for ages, tonight was finally so i put it on, sat down and enjoyed 42 or so minutes of new wave. At the end, Spring Session M remains a good and solid new wave record, but not something i'd say is a classic album, due to its little flaws.
