As a mini-LP for the new initiate, it serves as a handy one-stop updater, but since most of it appeared elsewhere within the previous six months and not a single second of previously unavailable material is included, it's not worth much to fans of any duration.

Work and Non-Work is the perfect collection of Dream Pop songs that do a lot more than being dreamy and relaxing but add special structures and soundscapes that give this album a feeling like you are in space or having a good dream. while this isn't perfect, it's insanely good, and legendary. really unfortunate that broadcoast fizzed out the way they did, not sure why it happened, but the potential when there were five full members was boundless.

fave tracks: accidentals; the book lovers; message from home; phantom; we've got time; living room; according to no plan; lights out

Work and Non-Work is the perfect collection of Broadcast best hauntology and dream pop records.
Even though it's a compilation it is a must Hear for everyone who cares just a lil bit about Dream Pop!
(I just realised that Dream Pop is not credited in the details about this Album. My Bad!) :(
