H.E.R. was at her best when she was a mystery. The enigma behind her true identity amplified a lot about this project and how much her music resonated with R&B audiences. Regardless, this is a stellar R&B album that isn't actually a full length album, but a compilation perfectly sequenced compared to the separate EPs and B-sides.

A solid compilation of songs. Her voice is gorgeous and soothing with well-written lyrics. It kind of blends together a bit by the end but songs like Focus, Say It Again and her cover of jungle are strong enough to make anyone's rotation.
A ok to solid project. Nothing really stood out to me like that but there wasn't a single song I'd consider bad either.
