The title track starts the record, a common but nicely ominous intro. I like the tone on the riffing once it all comes together, great raw energy. The chuggy riffs give some pleasant heaviness, nasty vocal snarl. Love that little groove focus reminds me of Exhorder there. Love the percussion on the solo passage. They do a great job of making the groove extra wicked in the second half. Great track.

Hell yeah. Invocator improved upon everything from Sadus’ setup and created a spectacular technical thrash album with death influences. Not specifically technical death, the essence of tech thrash reigns supreme throughout this album with many influences from OSDM. It’s aggressive, varied to hell and back, and has one of the sickest album atmospheres I’ve heard. Excursion Demise is one of those albums that wants to put its fingers in both of the cooler styles of thrash's pies while not really committing to either. In this case, brutal thrash on one and tech thrash on the other. In theory this could be very nice, but this is dragged down by a few factors.
